Artisan Spotlight | Enica Barnes | Home, Kitchen, & Body Essentials

Welcome to Sweet Health | A Lifestyle & Wellness blog by Hengelh’s Honey
This week, Sweet Health is highlighting members of the Hengelh’s Honey community that are blazing their trails as artists, artisans, and entrepreneurs.
Please consider patronizing these individuals and their respective businesses throughout the upcoming holiday season. Supporting their Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales is a great place to start!

Happy Monday, Friends! Rachel, HH CoFounder here.

I am elated to kick off this week’s spotlight series by highlighting the work of a resilient and generous individual by the name of Enica Barnes.

I admire Enica's work ethic. As a working student and creative, she has dedicated herself to curating scrumptious food, cozy home goods, and decadent body products for her community.

From Caribbean spice blends to rose bath soaks, all of her products are handmade and crafted with intention. I have personally enjoyed her hand whipped body butter and baked several loaves of yummy banana bread from her handmade flour blend.

About Enica

Craft and/or Trade

Lifestyle Curator

Mission/Purpose/Value statement

My mission as a lifestyle curator is to introduce people to intentional, fun, and DIY living.

I also value my relationship with Christ, and much of what I do is based on what God says to me. He does not speak directly to me, but after praying, journaling, reading His Word, and doing the work, it becomes clear to me that I am moving according to His will for my life. It’s important to me that no matter the room I walk into, or person I encounter, that they know from the jump or somewhere in between that I am a woman who fears the Lord.

What is the mark that you intend to leave on this world?

I want people to say, “yeah, Enica hooked me up. She’s high-key the plug” and “I always felt loved and encourage and positive around Enica”.

Which type of Hengelh’s Honey do you buy & how do you use it?

I am currently using the Goldenrod Honey by HH. I put it in or on everything. I love using it on my pancakes, in my green tea, and most recently as a base for my homemade granola!
